What to do in an emergency

1. Stay calm — Your pet will pick up on your emotions, and staying calm helps you think more clearly.
2. Call us immediately before coming in — We'll advise whether to bring your pet in or what to do next and prepare for your arrival. Out of hours, your call will be forwarded to Vets Now in Manningtree.
3. Safety first — Ensure you're safe before attending to your pet. Pets in pain or frightened may behave differently, even with people they trust.
4. Toxic substances — If your pet has ingested or contacted something toxic, bring the packaging if safe to do so.
